DOLLYWOOD’S SWEET SUMMER NIGHTS
Wishing to create the #BestSummerEver for its guests, Dollywood is hosting a joyous celebration of light, music, and dance this summer. Named “Sweet Summer Nights,” the celebration takes place each evening from June 25–July 31 and features a family-friendly dance party, fireworks, and a multi-sensory drone performance that lights up the sky above the Smoky Mountains with custom 3D animations.

Produced in partnership with Dollywood, the performance uses up to 400 Intel drones and features iconic summer imagery, including glittering stars, interlocking hearts, and a magnificent fluttering butterfly. To the delight of the park’s three million seasonal guests, the special event also includes extended nighttime hours for a full day of entertainment. Highlights of the show can be seen on YouTube (with 17,400 views and counting) and bring to life the story, history, and music of Dollywood, the dream family destination of country music star and actress Dolly Parton created in collaboration with Herschend Family Entertainment.
Choreographed with music and fireworks, the performance features many of the popular singer’s most famous songs, concluding with a moving rendition of “Light of a Clear Blue Morning,” while the drones form a dramatic sunrise symbolizing the dawn of a new day here in the Smokies. Every generation of visitors will end their fun-filled day at the park with an evening of song, dance, and an exciting display of lights. It will easily be the #BestSummerEver!
