Commissioned to draw international attention to the Dubai Shopping Festival, the world’s largest and longest-running retail celebration, the spectacular Dubai Shopping Festival Drone Light Show was the result of a close collaboration between the festival’s organizer, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, and our extraordinary team.

By working together, we delivered not just one, but two custom-designed performances that thrilled audiences across the globe. Set against the glittering backdrop of downtown, Dubai: A City of Adventure and Dubai: From the Past to the Present featured an exciting variety of original imagery, including a spirited skydiver, an adventurous quad biker, and ambitious national projects like the Emirates Mars Mission.

Painting the sky with vivid color combinations and dynamic 3D animations, the four-minute performances featured 300 classic Intel drones carefully choreographed to synchronize with the accompanying music. The performances were also thoughtfully conceptualized to maximize viewing opportunities, allowing Dubai’s residents to enjoy the nightly shows in safe, socially distanced ways.

For this edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival, we worked closely with our partners at Intel to stage the incredible DSF Drone Light Show that has amazed residents and visitors since the opening day of the festival on December 17.
