The green and white colors of king, country, and flag took center stage when the 2018 King Cup Final, a football match between the two best Saudi Arabia teams, took place in a pageantry of luminosity and lights. Held in the city of Jeddah, the Intel team provided additional grandeur and brilliance by creating a special light show using 300 Classic drones.
Images of the emblem of Saudi Arabia, silhouettes of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, both of whom were present at the match, flying falcons, and other visions flew high above the open-air King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. Fireworks, a ceremonial entrance, light shows, musical entertainers, and more were present to celebrate this important match between teams Al-Faisaly, based in Harmah City and Al-Ittihad, based in Jeddah, the latter celebrating a 3-1 victory.
More than 62,000 spectators in the stadium, named the Shining Jewel, cheered on their teams while countless others watched from their homes and on YouTube. The championship, also called the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, was truly an event fit for a king.
